Watches & Watch Repairs
Right On Time
When gaskets fail due to age or extreme conditions moisture can seep into the watch. This can cause damage to the dial, movement, and hands. This damage can usually be repaired through careful cleaning of the movement and other parts. If the part cannot be repaired, replacement parts are usually available from most major brands.
To help avoid water damage it is suggested to:
-Avoid major tempature changes (Hot Tub, Shower, Walk in freezers)
-If your watch has a screw down crown, make sure to close it after setting or winding your watch.
-Do not operate pushers or crown under water (Except Casio G-shock watches, as these are designed to be operated under water)
-Have your gasket replaced and crown lubricated whenever the watch is serviced
